Jerice Doeg has been a potter for 37 years and was a founder member of the Port Elizabeth branch of the Association of Potters of Southern Africa.
She is currently the National Chairman of Ceramics Southern Africa. She has, convened, selected and judged many exhibitions and was invited to Japan to judge the World Children’s Ceramics exhibition.
Her work is also included in the Corobrik Collection. Jerice works mainly on the wheel in porcelain and stoneware and is inspired by the contrasts between the delicate properties of porcelain and the patterns and colours of Africa.
She has a teaching studio in Pretoria.
